I wasn't sure that I would like the format of this book with the author going back and forth between the characters, but I am CAPTIVATED. I have read other books that attempt to take the reader into the mind and day to day life of someone with Alzheimer's but not like this. Jennifer often is on the "outside" looking in on conversations between her children and caretakers during the murder investigation of her dearest friend. Amazing story !!! I was immediately hooked.
